A systematic process for deciding which studies to include is a key stage in any evidence synthesis . This workshop will present the principles of screening as transparently and objectively as possible, with worked examples and opportunities to pose questions.

Learning objectives:
- Why objectivity and transparency in screening for studies is important
- How to design eligibility criteria
- What common pitfalls in the process may be and how to avoid them
- What tools and softwares are available to aid screening

Target audience:
Anyone unfamiliar with systematic screening of studies who wants to know more. No prior experience of evidence synthesis is required.
